About Waypoint Hobbies
Our Story
Waypoint Hobbies is a Victoria, Australia-based hobby shop. We’re starting with Magic: The Gathering — hand-building one-of-a-kind, ready-to-play Commander decks — but we don’t plan on staying exclusive to TCGs. As we grow, expect the shelves to expand into other tabletop hobbies too.
Behind it all is Matthew, whose knowledge runs deep across TTRPGs and tabletop wargaming too — he’s even taken home an international award for painting miniatures.
What We Do
We hand-build one-of-a-kind, ready-to-play Commander decks — every card chosen for synergy and curve, not just thrown together. Alongside that, we source Magic: The Gathering singles, and we’re working on stocking sealed product and hosting Commander events in south eastern Victoria.
Where We’re Based
Waypoint Hobbies is based in Victoria, Australia. We currently operate online, shipping decks and cards around Australia — with in-person events on the way.
